BridgeCo was approached via a broker who had a client that purchased a property at Auction. The client had purchased a residential leasehold apartment around £60k below market value. The broker had secured the finance for the purchase from a traditional high street lender. At legal the deal had fallen through due to the unexpired term on the lease. Client had to complete other wise he would lose his deposit and auction fees which were more than 10%. BridgeCo instructed legals and completed the deal within 5 working days. Our solicitor also were instructed by the client to help renew the lease back to 99 years so the client could continue with the traditional mortgage.
